I recommend it for those who want to add more brain exercises to their game library. WordMaster is one of the games I received. While waiting for my daughter to finish her piano lessons, I picked up her DS and sampled Brain Age 2. I enjoyed it so much that Santa put a DS and games in my stocking for Christmas this year. WordMaster tests your memory of 6 letter words, and the graphics are charming.
It is actully knid of hard and you really have to think to get the word. not what I expected to get. instructions are not the explict.
I enjoy the game, but I play Word Jong much more than I do this game. They don't have a lot of word games out there for the DS yet, so I bought this for myself as a stocking stuffer this past Christmas. It needs more things to do on the game.
However, once you figure it out, it's really challenging and will get your brain going. This game took some time to get used to, as it doesn't provide a lot of direction or help. It's not as good as WordJong, but it's close.
Some categories are so vague that it adds more challenge to the puzzle because you're not sure what they mean by the clue. I read the one review that mentioned that the categories get repetitive and they do, but they've been different words each time. I highly recommend it. I love word puzzles and the day I got it, I played for 2 hours after only planning to play for a few minutes. It's very addicting. It's a great way to unwind at the end of the day.
